Do I need to set up DNS or buy an SSL certificate?

No. A bagevent.io address is live as soon as you claim it and is served over HTTPS under BagEvent's own certificate. There is nothing to configure or renew.

What can the address be?

3 to 40 letters, numbers or hyphens, starting and ending with a letter or number, and not already taken by another event. You can change it later.

Does a branded address cost extra?

No. Every event on every plan can claim one. The person claiming it needs the Share permission for the event.

Will the event's original link stop working?

No. The platform link keeps working after you claim an address, so links you have already shared or that search engines have indexed continue to resolve.

Can attendee emails come from our own domain?

Not today: attendee emails are sent from BagEvent's own sending domain.
