The attendee pays in the currency the ticket was sold in, and the entity is paid in that same currency — no conversion happens on the way. Conversion appears only in the group view, which is a reporting figure, not a balance.
Key features
Your own payment account
Connect your Stripe or PayPal account and ticket revenue settles directly to you. BagEvent never holds your funds and takes 0% of them, on every plan.
Multi-currency collection
Attendees pay in their local currency while you price in yours. Cards, PayPal, and local methods such as iDEAL and PayNow are all supported.
Multi-entity settlement
Route each currency or event to a specific legal entity, and each entity settles to its own bank account. Business covers five entities; Enterprise is unlimited.
Transparent fees
Every order shows exactly what was deducted and what will be paid out. The only deduction is your payment provider's processing fee — there is no BagEvent cut.
Automated payouts
Payouts follow your provider's schedule without manual reconciliation. Each payout links back to the orders it covers.
Refund management
Issue full or partial refunds from the order detail page. Refunds flow back through the original payment method and update reporting automatically.

Frequently asked questions
Each ticket is priced in the currency it sells in, so multi-currency ticketing does not mean a live conversion at checkout: the attendee pays in that currency and the legal entity you mapped to the event receives it in the same currency, into its own account. Conversion appears only in the group report, which is a reporting view rather than a balance.
Yes. Paid conference ticketing runs on your own payment account: event payment processing is connected to your Stripe account per legal entity, attendees pay in the currency the ticket was sold in, and the money lands in that entity's account. BagEvent takes 0% of ticket sales on every plan; the card processing fee goes to Stripe or PayPal, not to us.
No. BagEvent charges 0% platform fee on all plans. You pay only your payment provider's standard processing fee, and ticket revenue settles directly into your own account.
Yes — and with BagEvent it is how payments always work. You connect your own Stripe or PayPal account, which is what allows revenue to reach you directly with no platform cut. Setup is a guided connection flow under Settings → Payments.
Yes. With BagEvent you price in your settlement currency, and attendees see and pay the equivalent in theirs, converted at daily exchange rates. The money arrives in your own account, in your currency.
You map currencies or events to entities, and each entity settles to its own bank account. Business plans support five entities and Enterprise is unlimited.
Issue a full or partial refund from the order detail page. The refund is returned through the original payment method and reporting updates automatically.
Payouts follow the schedule of the payment provider you connected, since the money moves through your own account. Each payout is linked to the orders it covers for reconciliation.

- Why does one organisation end up with several payment accounts?Where multiple legal entities come from, what breaks when one platform pools their ticket money, and the four models teams use to keep it straight.
- What happens when you have to give the money back?By the time a refund is asked for, the money is committed to the venue. Refund deadlines, the fee you never get back, postponements, and chargebacks.
