Sales invitations
Sales invitations let your sales teams invite prospects to one event on terms you set. Every rep gets a personal link (and can send email invitations); whoever registers through it is credited to that rep. You see the results by person and by team.
Open your event and choose Sales. The page has these tabs:
| Tab | What it is for |
|---|---|
| Rules | Who may invite, with which tickets, and what invitees get |
| Leaderboard | Who is bringing people in |
| Invitations | Every invitation and who holds the credit |
| Conflicts | The same person invited by two reps |
| Channels & commission | Partner links that earn a commission (a separate feature) |
Quick start
- Choose + New rule.
- Under Who can invite, tick the teams. Everyone on a ticked team, and its sub-teams, can invite.
- Pick the Tickets invitees may buy.
- Pick what they get (see below). Regular price is the default.
- Choose Create rule.
- In Tell your reps, choose Email N people. Each rep gets their own link and a button to the event's personal center, where they promote it from their phone or laptop.
Invitations are turned on with your first rule; the status line at the top of Rules then reads Live.
What invitees get
| Benefit | Effect |
|---|---|
| Regular price | No discount. The registration is still credited to the rep. |
| Free | A complimentary ticket. |
| % off | A share off the price the ticket sells at. |
| Amount off | A fixed amount off each ticket. |
| Fixed price | Each ticket sells at this price. |
A rule can also open a hidden ticket to invitees only: tick it under Tickets. An invitation never stacks with a promo code.
Approval
| Setting | What happens when someone registers |
|---|---|
| Confirm automatically | They are confirmed at once. |
| A sales manager approves | The registration waits. The team's managers are emailed and approve in their workspace. If no team up the tree has a manager, the organization's owner and admins are asked instead. |
| The organizer approves | The registration waits in Attendees → Pending review, and the owner and admins are emailed. |
Free tickets default to a sales manager's approval; everything else is confirmed automatically. Either way, the rep is emailed when their invitee is approved or not.
More options
Open More options in the rule for:
- Total seats and Per person (default) — caps on how many places the rule gives out. Seats count held carts, pending and registered places; a cancelled one gives its seat back.
- Team cap and Per person per team — shown in the team list once More options is open. A team cap covers the whole subtree. Sales managers can hand out seats below their own team from their workspace, never above their own cap.
- Personal allotments — a cap for one person, which beats their team's.
- Guests per invitee — each invitee may register up to this many companions.
- Valid from / Valid until — in the event's time zone.
- Paused — the rule's links and invitations stop working until you resume it.
The status line and "Who can invite"
The line at the top of Rules shows whether invitations are Live or Paused, how many rules are active, how many people can invite and from which teams. The switch on it pauses every rule at once; rules and results are kept.
Teams you tick on a rule are added to Who can invite for you. Use Adjust only to narrow a team to named people, or to take a team off the event.
Telling reps and handing out links
- Notify on a rule emails every rep it reaches their personal link again — useful after adding people.
- Links on a rule gets any one rep's link for you to pass on yourself, or makes an invitation for one email address.
Reps find their links in the event's personal center under Promoter → My link, and in their sales workspace.
Leaderboard
The top line is the funnel: Invited → Registered (the share of invited) → Checked in (the attendance rate), plus net revenue when a rule charges.
Below it, rank People or Teams:
- Rank by registered (default), invited, checked in, conversion or net revenue.
- Each row has a bar for scale; the top three are marked.
- Filter to one team and its sub-teams, or search. Long lists show the top 20 first.
- The Teams view compares teams on the same level. Click a team to go down to its sub-teams, or to its people if it has none.
By rule, folded at the bottom, shows each rule's seats and funnel.
Conflicts
If two reps invite the same person, the first invitation holds the credit and the other is marked lost. Conflicts lists these so you can keep the result or move the credit.
