Polls, draws, and screens at your stand
Your stand can run its own polls and prize draws, and show them on a TV at the booth. They are only for people who have visited your stand — they are not event-wide, and other stands never see your numbers.
Booth codes
Every booth has two codes, under Booth codes on the web and Stand → Show the booth code in the app.

When a visitor scans either code in the app, their visit to your stand is recorded. That visit is what lets them see your polls and enter your draws, and it counts as a stamp on any stamp trail you are a stop on.
Only the live code counts
Turn on Only the live code counts as a visit when you want visits to count only from people standing at your booth. A photo of the poster forwarded to a friend no longer records a visit. Badge scans by your own reps always count.
On the web, Put on a screen next to a booth shows its code on your paired stand screen.
WARNING
With this switch on, visitors need to scan with the BagEvent app. Someone who scans with their phone's camera lands on a web page that cannot read the live code, so their visit is not recorded. Tell visitors to open the app first.
Polls
On the web: Polls → New poll.
- Question, up to 500 characters.
- Options, one per line — at least 2, up to 12.
- Reward for answering — No draw — just the question, or one of your stand's draws. With a draw chosen, answering the poll enters the voter into that draw.
Save poll saves it as a draft. Open starts it and Close ends it. Options cannot change once the poll is open, and a closed poll cannot be reopened.
In the app, Engage → Polls → Ask something new offers more:
- People can pick more than one
- Show results as people answer
- Time limit — no limit, 1, 3, 5, or 10 minutes
- Every answer enters a draw
Your team always sees the count for each option and the total.
A draw that asks its own required questions cannot be attached to a poll: a vote cannot answer them.
Prize draws
On the web: Prize draws → New draw. In the app: Engage → Draws → New draw.
Kind of draw

The kind cannot change once anyone has entered.
The rest of the editor
- Name and Collect prizes at.
- Prizes with In stock (or Winners) and an optional image.
- Animation — Wheel, Grid, Slot machine, Pinball, Red packet, or Name scroll. The result is always decided by BagEvent; the animation is only a show.
- What to ask before they are in — optional Free text or Pick one questions, each optionally Required.
Save draft, or Publish to open it. End stops new entries; winners keep their prizes.
Who can enter, and what you get
- Only people scanned at your stand can enter.
- Each person enters once.
- Every entry becomes one of your leads, with their answers to the draw's questions. Their details still follow what they agreed to share.
Winners are notified and get a code to show at the place you set in Collect prizes at. The draws list shows Entered, Won, and prizes left for each draw.
The app's Engage → Start menu has shortcuts for the common set-ups: Draw, Gift for their answers, Poll + draw, and Poll.
Your stand screen
Any TV or monitor with a browser can be your stand screen.
- On the TV, open the address shown under Screens (it ends in
/s). It shows Pair this screen and a six-digit code. - Pair it:
- Web: Screens → enter the Code on the screen and a Name such as Stand TV → Pair screen.
- App: Stand → Screens → Pair a screen, or scan the QR code on the TV with the app's scanner.
- Use Put on screen on a poll or draw. With several screens, choose one, All screens, or Show here.
When nothing is on, the screen shows your stand card and your booth code — or the live code, if only the live code counts. Back to stand code returns it there; Unpair releases the TV.
Your stand screen shows only your stand's polls, draws, and code. It cannot show the organizer's content or another stand's.
Stamp trails
If the organizer runs a stamp rally, your stand may be one of its stops. Stamp trails on the web, or Engage → Stamps in the app, shows:
- each trail you are on, and whether it is Running or Over;
- how many people were stamped at your stand;
- how many are playing and how many finished.
You do not set anything up. Being a stop means people are sent to you to collect a stamp, and every visit recorded at your booth counts.
