Surveys
A survey collects feedback through a public link — after a session, at the end of the event, or whenever you want to ask your audience something. Open the event, then Surveys under On-site. You need the Surveys permission.
Create a survey and add questions
- Choose New survey, enter a Title and an optional Description, then Create. It starts as a draft.
- Choose Edit. Under Fields, enter a Label, pick a Type, tick Required if people must answer, and select Add field.
The types are Short text, Long text, Email, Dropdown, Single choice, Multiple choice and Rating. For the three choice types, type the Options separated by commas. For a rating, pick the Scale: 1–5 stars or 0–10 score (NPS).
To change a question, Delete it and add it again.
Publish, share and close
- Publish opens the survey for responses. It needs at least one field.
- Copy link copies the public link. Put it in a broadcast, on a slide, or wherever your audience will see it.
- Close stops new responses; Publish opens it again.
- Delete removes the survey and every response to it.
Responses are accepted only while both the survey and the event are published.
Read the responses
Choose Responses to see each response: the respondent's name (or Anonymous), their email marked verified or not verified, and their answers.
One response per person
By default anyone with the link can answer, and the email they type isn't checked — so nothing stops someone answering twice.
With One response per person ticked, respondents confirm their email with a code before answering, and each address can answer once. It's the same code used to sign in to the event page. Registered attendees always get one; people who aren't registered for the event may not, so use this for surveys meant for your attendees rather than the general public.
