Event website
Every event gets a website with registration built in: attendees pick tickets and register on the site itself, without being sent to a separate checkout. You design it in the website editor, and it goes live when you publish the event.
Open the editor
Open the event and choose Design website in the event header. The editor opens in a new tab, with the site on a canvas in the middle, what you can add on the left, and the settings for whatever you select on the right.
Start from a template, or generate one
Choose Templates & AI in the editor's top bar:
- Built-in starters — Conference website or Simple registration, each with a choice of Colour scheme. Apply starter replaces the canvas.
- Generate with AI — describe the site you want, paste the address of a reference or last year's site into the same box, or paste a screenshot of one (Ctrl+V). The assistant drafts the section structure, the copy and the colours in about half a minute. It borrows structure and brand colours, never images or logos.
- My templates — sites your organization saved earlier. Use Save current site as template at the bottom of the dialog, and the design is offered for every future event.
Whatever you apply lands as an unsaved draft. Undo (Ctrl+Z) brings the previous version back.
Sections and pages
Choose Add section to add a block. Sections that show event data fill themselves in from what you have already set up:
| Section | Shows |
|---|---|
| Speakers | Speakers from the event's speaker library |
| Agenda | Sessions by day and track, from the agenda |
| Tickets | Ticket selection and the registration form |
| Sponsors, Exhibitors | Your sponsors and exhibitors |
| Call for speakers | Your open call for papers, with a submit button |
| Countdown, Map / Venue, Event detail | Start time, location and the event's details |
There are also content blocks — Hero, About, Text, Image, Video, Photo gallery, Good to know, FAQ, File download, Contact, CTA band and Custom HTML. Change a session or a speaker once, where it is managed, and the site shows the change; you do not edit it twice.
Drag sections to reorder them. For a longer site, Add page creates more pages and Navigation menu decides what appears in the site's menu.
On phones, the home page can show as a grid of tiles instead of one long page — pick the layout under Mobile hub template. Use the Desktop and Mobile switch at the top to check both.
Look and feel
Themes sets the colours and fonts for the whole site. Select any section to change its own settings, including its label in the menu and the anchor other links point to.
Analytics and pixels
Under Analytics & pixels, add your Google Analytics 4 measurement ID, Meta Pixel ID or Baidu Tongji ID. Page views are tracked, and each completed registration is sent once as a conversion — a purchase with its amount when money changed hands, a lead when the ticket was free.
Visitor consent is Ask first (recommended) by default: nothing loads until the visitor accepts, and visits before that are sent on acceptance or dropped if they decline. Previews and the editor are never tracked.
Preview and publish
- Preview saves the draft and opens it as visitors would see it.
- Save keeps your work without changing the live site.
- The event's website goes live when the event is published. After that, editor changes stay in the draft until you choose Publish updates.
- Unpublish takes the website offline. The draft, its history and the event itself are untouched, and Publish updates puts the site back.
Give the event a branded address
Every event has a platform link that always works. To give it a short address of its own:
- Open the event and choose Basics, then the Domain tab.
- Under Event web address, type the address you want — 3 to 40 letters, numbers or hyphens, for example
my-event— and choose Claim address. - The event is live straight away at
my-event.bagevent.io. There is no DNS to set up. Share links prefer the new address, and the platform link keeps working.
More languages
To publish the same event in Simplified or Traditional Chinese as well as English, see Multi-language events.
