Promoting an event as a sales rep

If an organizer has put you on one of their sales teams, you can invite people to their events. Everybody who registers through your personal link or your email invitation is credited to you. This page is for you, the rep.

Where to start

You'll usually get an email titled Start inviting to …. It carries your personal link and a Start promoting button that opens the event's personal center. There are two places to work from:

PlaceBest for
The event's personal center — the event page address followed by /meOne event: your link, share picture, QR code and invitations, on your phone at a stand or on your laptop
Your sales workspace — app.bagevent.io/salesEvery event you promote, bulk invitations, and (for managers) your team

Signing in to the personal center

  1. Open the event's personal center (the link in your email, or Open in the event's personal center in your workspace).
  2. Enter your email — the address the organizer invited you with — and the six-digit code you receive.

No password is needed. Attendees and speakers sign in the same way. If you also bought a ticket, it is under My tickets. Your promotion pages sit beside it under Promoter.

  • Your results — how many you invited, how many registered, how many checked in, and your conversion rate.
  • What they get — the offer on your link (for example Free ticket or 20% off), the tickets it covers, whether registrations need approval, and how many seats you have left.
  • Share your invitation — a picture reading "Your name invites you" with the event's details. Post it straight to LinkedIn, X or WhatsApp, Copy link, or Download image. On a phone, Share… opens your apps.
  • QR code — download it for a slide, a stand or a printed card.

If the organizer has given you several invitations for the event, switch between them at the top.

Invitations

  • Invite someone — enter an email (and optionally a name) and choose Send invitation. The email goes out in your name through the event, and replies come to you. There is a daily limit, shown under the form.
  • People you invited — everyone who came through your link or email, with their status: Invited, Opened, Registered, Awaiting approval, Approved, Checked in, and so on. Filter by Not registered yet, Registered or Checked in.

If a colleague invited the same person first, the registration counts for them.

Your sales workspace

At app.bagevent.io/sales you see every event you can invite to. For each event:

  • My links — your link and QR for each invitation.
  • Invitees — add people one by one or Import CSV (email, name, note), then send, resend or withdraw invitations.
  • Notifications — choose which emails you get: when an invitee registers, when one checks in, and (managers) when an approval is needed. These apply to all of the organizer's events.

Sales managers also get:

  • Team — each person's results in the teams you manage.
  • Approvals — registrations waiting for you. You can't approve your own invitee.
  • Allot seats — hand out seats to people and sub-teams under you, up to your own cap.
  • Join requests — approve or reject people who asked to join your team through its join link.
